Christine Kannapel holds a B.A. in English from the University of Utah and an M.A. in Creative Writing from University College Cork. With a passion for poetry, fiction, and fantasy, Kannapel crafts stories and poems that blend concision, emotional depth, and vivid imagery. Her work has been featured in physical and online publications. “A Summer in Cork” was serialized as part of EchoLive.ie’s annual Summer Soap program. In 2019, her poem, “On the Edge,” was a finalist for the Dan Veach Prize for Younger Poets, and in 2025, her chapbook was a finalist in the Atlanta Poetry Review’s chapbook contest. The King’s Promise is her debut novel. Raised in Utah, she now lives in Wisconsin with her husband and two cats.
